Christmas is the season to make merry and spend time with loved ones. While this may seem like the norm, there is a section of people who do not partake in the celebrations of the festive season, simply because they cannot afford it.
For this reason, GraceStation Foundation brought together over 300 of its beneficiaries to revel in the festive season. Beneficiaries from Bubiashie, Darkuman, Abbosey Okai, Madina, Pokuase and Kwashieman Zongo were transported to the GraceStation premises including their guardians.
Activities that ensured that the children had a good time included bouncy castles, face paintings, games such as dance competitions, lime and spoon and a cotton candy stand that fed their sweet tooths. Their guardians were not left out of this as they benefitted from a thorough health screening exercise.
Beneficiaries who had proven exceptional in academics and volunteering with the foundation throughout the year, were awarded certificates and various prizes.
It was fulfilling at the end of the day to see the families leave with food items such as bags of rice, frozen chicken and oil among many others, toys and kids bibles, etc.
“And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” - Matthew 10:42
