The day began with prayer and purpose. Miss Juliet, the foundation’s administrator, welcomed everyone with warmth and vision. The first session, led by health educator Mrs. Elsie Djandu Tetteh, tackled cervical cancer with clarity and confidence. She shared life-saving facts, debunked myths, and encouraged open conversations between mothers and daughters. The room lit up with questions, laughter, and newfound clarity.
After a refreshing break, the focus shifted to finances. Miss Juliet’s “Fact or Myth” game sparked lively discussions, from budgeting with irregular income to protecting mobile money PINs. Women shared their stories, learned practical tips, and won stylish bags in a fun quiz.
Before leaving, each participant received 4 kg of maize, a gift of nourishment and hope. The women left not just with maize, but with knowledge, confidence, and a renewed sense of empowerment.
