Lansah started his academic journey at Koblimahagu Sobriya Islamic School, where he had a great time learning. He was always a diligent student and was awarded the best student in his school after the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in 2014.

Lansah furthered to Ghana Senior High School, where he continued to excel academically. In 2017, he was among the two best students in his school when he wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). During his time in senior high school, he represented his school in the Regional and National Science and Maths Quiz, an experience that helped him develop his critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

After completing Senior High School however, Lansah faced some financial difficulties that made it impossible for him to continue his education immediately. Although he was awarded a fully funded scholarship to pursue his tertiary education outside the country, he missed out on this opportunity because he could not afford the cost of a flight ticket.

Determined to not let this setback stop him from achieving his dreams, he worked as a teacher in a local school for a year in order to save up for his tertiary education.

In 2018, he gained admission to the University for Development Studies to study BSc. Mechanical Engineering. Although friends and family opined that he studied Medicine, Lansah knew Mechanical Engineering was his passion and so he decided to pursue it.

He faced another obstacle when he found out that what he had saved up was not enough and his family could not afford the full fees and other expenses to facilitate his learning. He and his family had to rely on the benevolence of their district assembly and other friends and family to get some funds to take him to school.

All through his first two years in school, Lansah laments how much of a struggle it was to pay for his tuition and other learning materials and with no money to get good accommodation on the university campus, he had to walk long distances to attend his scheduled lectures, and this put a strain on his studies. He, however, refused to give up without a fight.

In his third year, Lansah chanced on the Gracestation foundation scholarship scheme and applied. He was awarded a scholarship that provided full tuition and with good academic standing, his scholarship was renewed for a second year. This allowed him to fully focus on his studies and this helped him complete his studies to obtain a degree in BSc Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a CGPA of 4.89 and was valedictorian for the 23rd Congregation of the University of Development Studies.

Currently, he is gaining valuable experience in his field of study as a national service personnel at Anglogold Ashanti, Obuasi Mine.
