Thirty-five (35) beneficiaries from the Nima community participated in a Let’s Learn training at the GSf premises in April.  

Let’s Learn is a bespoke empowerment program where beneficiaries are empowered with knowledge in basic concepts such as financial literacy, character building, leadership etc. The training sessions are geared towards helping beneficiaries develop essential life skills needed to improve their social and economic standing.   

April’s training sessions covered topics that included Self-discovery, Leadership, Communication and Financial Literacy. Facilitated by GSf’s empowerment project coordinator, the two-day program guided the women on proper interactions with diverse people wherever they find themselves, taking up leadership roles and proper execution, as well as effective ways to manage their finances. 

They were again, encouraged and informed on the need to give back to society- a cause GSf is championing under the theme ‘Give4Change’, using biblical references.  

The foundation is hopeful that the beneficiaries are adequately empowered with the knowledge acquired and are ready for the field of work.
