Amanda is a single widowed mother with two children. Since the demise of her husband, she has received no help from family members to take care of herself and her children.  

She runs a local drink (sobolo) business where she hawks the drink, mostly in basic schools and the little profit she gets from this is what she uses in taking care of the home. 

Amanda’s first child recently gained admission to Senior High School, and she is unable to fully fund this due to the scale of her production of her trade which limits the profits she makes. GraceStation foundation supported her with some items to aid her child to go to school, however, we believed it would be more beneficial if she received some support for her business. 

Consequently, Amanda was supported with items such as the various ingredients to make the local drink (sobolo) and bottles in large quantities. This would increase her scale of production and ultimately increase her profits.  

She is grateful to the foundation for the support assures us that she would make good use of the opportunity.
