On June 26, 2025, GraceStation Foundation brought together over 90 participants — including persons with disabilities (PWDs), widows, and single parents — for an inspiring Wellness Event in Ningo-Prampram.
The focus? Chronic illness awareness and prevention.
Led by volunteer Nurse Surmikor Hammond, participants learned about managing long-term health conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, and high blood pressure through healthy lifestyle habits, regular checkups, and community support.
From myth-busting games to real-life testimonies, the session empowered participants to take control of their health. Snacks were shared, maize was distributed, and everyone — even unexpected guests — was cared for.
Needs raised included:
Medical support
Seedlings for farming
Assistance with epilepsy medication
This powerful outreach was more than a health talk — it was a celebration of resilience and inclusion. GraceStation remains committed to ensuring no one is left behind.
