The foundation organized a three (3) day skills and sustainability empowerment training for fifteen (15) of its beneficiaries. This was to empower local women to achieve economic independence, flexibility of career paths, and an improved standard of living, hence, the training in bead making and makeup artistry. Facilitators took the participants through theory and step by step practical sessions. It also served as a forum for women entrepreneurs to share their experiences and provide peer-to-peer business mentoring with guidance from the empowerment department of the foundation. At the end of the training, star participants were selected and awarded.
