In the wake of a recent demolition exercise that displaced numerous residents of the Budumburam refugee settlement, GraceStation foundation stepped in to provide support to its affected beneficiaries in the community. The demolition exercise left many families without shelter and basic necessities and the intervention sought to bring relief to the displaced beneficiaries.
The foundation launched an emergency response initiative to provide essential items that would help mitigate the immediate hardships faced. Many families lost their belongings during the demolition, leaving them with inadequate clothing. GraceStation organized a clothing drive and distributed essential clothing items to those in need. Other essentials donated also included mosquito nets and bags of drinking water.
The support provided by GraceStation has had a profound impact on the lives of the displaced beneficiaries. They expressed gratitude to the foundation for the timely intervention that has alleviated their current plight.
