GraceStation foundation has successfully trained fifteen (15) beneficiaries from Ningo in liquid soap, thick bleach and fabric softener making under Let’s Work- an empowerment program that seeks to equip beneficiaries with useful soft skills for economic independence. 

The two-day session organized in the Ningo community combined theoretical and practical modes of teaching, and this was facilitated by the empowerment department of the foundation. The participants were informed on the various ingredients to use as well as taken through step-by-step processes on making the products while observing the appropriate safety measures i.e., wearing eye protection (goggles) and rubber gloves, long sleeve clothing, avoiding breathing the dust and fumes released when making the product. On completion of the two-day training, the participating beneficiaries were provided with printouts that listed out the various procedures in making the products as well as receiving some products to enabling them to start a small business selling items made. All participants reported enjoying the session, remarking on its interactive nature and raving about the new skills acquired.
