“As an organization, we believe change at a scale is only possible when we act in love, unity and add value to others hence collaboration is at the heart of everything we do” - Madame Taiwo.
This influenced our decision at the start of the year 2022, to organize a training program for the foundation’s community cell leaders with whom we work hand in hand to meet the needs of our beneficiaries and their communities.
The community cell leaders training (CCLT) program is designed to engage nominated local cell leaders in GSf beneficiary cluster communities on leadership skills, and how to help their cell group members develop skills and knowledge needed to improve their circumstances based on the foundation work strands of Feeding, Education, Health and Empowerment. Ultimately, GSf wants to create ‘ripples of improved education, health and well-being in our beneficiary communities.
We hosted our 1st CCLT programme in quarter one, and we had 27 cell leaders attend the program, they were all equipped with essential leadership skills and tasked to plan effective ways to organize group meetings in their communities for the 1st half of the year, we are certain that the cell leaders are stoked for the task ahead!
